Tuesday 30 January 2018  - President Fran's Message:
And the weather goes on and on and on …….no complaints mind!

In Brief:
Membership Satisfaction Survey Coming up.

Rotarian Cyclotourist  Pascal Temmar, from the Rotary Club of Noumea Ducos Bulari is riding the lenghth of NZ ( 6000km) to raise funds for Farm school projects in the South Pacific and awareness of Climate Change. He started out 28th  December , in the north and the last GPS tracking places him in Springfield, Canterbury. His trip will take him from Auckland to Cape Reinga, then Picton to Invercargill and back to Auckland. He is expected in Wanaka, over the next 3 days and will notify me 2 days out. Maybe I can call on a little delegation to welcome him to Wanaka and our club night?!

Take a look at the link to follow his trip https://www.rotarytournz.com/

Vege Swap – It was a small start last week, let’s see if we can grow it (excuse the pun)!

Magazine Recycle Good uptake!

Mountain Biking Sunday  - a fizzer, so I went paddle boarding instead with a little mtb back home. There’s room for improvement!

Friends of Rotary (FOR) – If you have anyone interested in helping us out at our fundraising events, then let me know. FOR is a good way for interested parties to get to know how the Rotary Club works. This could lead to more members.

Coming up
Keep an eye on the ClubRunner Calendar for the upcoming events, this is the start of a very busy 3 months!

REMINDER: Check duty roster in the bulletin. If  you are unable to perform the duty please find someone else and notify Admin & me!
