Tuesday 15th August - President Fran's Message:

Where  has  the  week  gone!  It was yet another week of connecting with friends & family, with the odd Rotary mini meeting and preparation for the Club Area Meeting in Cromwell on Sunday. No time for idle contemplation!

Don’t  forget  to let the Golf Club know about Guests coming to the meeting eg spouses and friends and your own apology if appropriate! Correct numbers are important for catering purposes.

Listen Up  Pete Barrow (PB) and his team, will produce  a Survey/ Questionaire, related to possible changes in our meeting format.  The compilation will be perused by our  directors for discussion and with some collaboration will be  presented to the members for feedback. As at today's date, PB is waiting on a response from Tony Brown which will help this initiative.

Coming  up  A Wine & Cheese Evening - Artisan Cheeses & Wines  held in conjunction with the Rotary Clubs of Cromwell and Alexandra , 2nd September in Cromwell, Transport there and back will be available depending on numbers. Come and support a Rotary function and enjoy the evening. It should be a great function, based on the work that the Rotary Clubs have put in!  Tickets are available from Tabatha.
Don't forget that transport will be available, based on numbers for a nominal cost.

Duck Race,  21st October and Book Sale 10,11,12 November, dont forget that ‘word of mouth’ works brilliantly—pass on the message !
